Austin Nelson is a composer, songwriter, audio engineer and music producer, specializing in both song production of various styles as well as instrumental music for film and television. He is also a versatile performer, with training as a pianist, violinist, cellist, and singer.

Austin began playing the piano at the age of five, and started playing the violin two years later. In addition to the piano and violin, he began playing the cello a few years later, and gained experience as a performer in school orchestras, as well as county-wide auditioned orchestras and regional piano competitions.

Austin began writing music in his teens, and has been writing, arranging, and producing both original songs and instrumental compositions since. He is currently pursuing a degree in Commercial Music at Brigham Young University with an emphasis in audio engineering and post production, and works as a studio technician in one of the campus’s recording studios.
